V6 V MAX SHO® 4.2 Liter Big Bore
The Game Changing Four Stroke Series
In the world of competitive bass fishing, the two stroke reigned supreme. That is, until Yamaha unleashed the four stroke V MAX SHO. Tournament after tournament, the hole shot on the V MAX SHO has put two strokes to shame. Add in its light weight, and its quiet, clean-burning, fuel-efficient four stroke power, and it’s one fierce competitor.
V MAX SHO® 150 2.8 Liter
The Faster, Smarter Four Stroke
The streamlined V MAX SHO 150 is the first 150hp four stroke worthy of the V MAX SHO name. Like the rest of the V MAX SHO line, this energetic outboard provides impressive hole shot and competitive top speed. Plus, it brings four-stroke efficiency to its virtual two-stroke performance, for a winning combination.
In-Line Four Models
F200 | F175 | F150 | F115
The new F200’s progressive engineering packs a lot of power into an incredibly compact, lightweight design. One that’s nearly as light as any 200-hp two-stroke outboard on the water. It’s awe-inspiring, and it’s already winning awards, including a 2013 IBEX® Innovation Award.
The new F115 drafts closely behind F200, offering incredible power and repower flexibility. It’s also the lightest 115hp four stroke on the water today.
Lightweight power is one of the many reasons In-Line Fours are bestsellers. They also offer:
Variable camshaft timing and four tuned intake tracks increase low-and mid-range torque, boosting acceleration on the F200.
16-valve direct drive DOHC maximizes power by using four valves per cylinder, eliminating rocker arms and their adjustments and increasing air supply and volumetric efficiency for better performance on the F200, F175, F150 and F115.
Our In-Line Four family features electronic fuel injection controlled by the Engine Control Module. It continually adjusts the fuel/air mix to properly match engine load and speed.
Counter-balancing technology on the F200, F175, F150 and F115 minimize engine vibration for a smooth ride.
F90 | F75 | F70 | F60 | F50 | F40 | F30 | F25
Features a 16-valve, Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) design for incredible acceleration, and Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection for reliable starts and outstanding fuel efficiency. The F90 is the only Yamaha Midrange with an optional 25-inch shaft.
The F75 features a 16-valve DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) design and Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection for outstanding acceleration and efficiency. It offers many of the same advantages as the F90, in a lower horsepower and with a standard 20-inch shaft.
Weighing in at up to 80 pounds lighter than its four stroke competitors, this 16-valve SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) midrange four stroke offers the greatest power-to-weight ratio in its class. That makes it perfect for lightweight fishing boats, pontoons and fiberglass boats. In addition, it’s Command Link® and YCOP™ compatible.
These SOHC midranges feature Precision Multi-Point Fuel injection, for quick starts, superior performance and maximum efficiency. Coupled with a multi-function tiller handle, you won’t find a better addition to your bass or aluminum fishing boat.
This versatile four stroke blends power and fuel efficiency with quiet performance and quick starts. It’s great for skiffs, jons, inflatables and small pontoons.
This nimble outboard boasts impressive power and superb, four-stroke performance. At just 214 pounds, it’s perfect for lightweight craft such as aluminum fishing boats and inflatables.
This midrange workhorse offers responsive power and solid fuel efficiency in a compact package. It features smart engineering conveniences, like the new Nitro Assist Tilt for effortless tilt on both electric and manual start tiller models, and our PrimeStart™ system, for reliable, turnkey starts in hot or cold conditions. Available with a 20-inch shaft (standard on all Yamaha midranges), or a 15-inch shaft for skinnier water, it’s great for skiffs, jons, inflatables and flats boats.
F20 | F15 | F9.9 | F8 | F6 | F4 | F2
Yamaha Portables are incredibly light, weighing as little as 37 pounds. Talk about punch you can pack.
Easy to Carry
Select models feature built-in front and rear carry handles for maximum portability. Plus, recent re-designs have made several of our portables, well, even more portable. The F9.9 is 12% lighter than previous designs, and we’ve trimmed 23 pounds from our F6.
Our 5-Step Trim Adjustment and 3-Step Shallow Water Drive System (on select models) protects your propeller in skinny water, making these pintsized powerhouses extremely maneuverable and getting you where you need to go.
The smaller the motor, the less fuel it consumes, true. However, one of Yamaha’s portables actually made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most miles traveled on one gallon of gas, going 67.27 continuous statute miles.
Our Easy Oil Retention System allows the F6 and F4 to be stored on their sides or front grip without oil leakage. Our F15 and F20 designs feature a water-cooled fuel pump, boosting power and preventing warm weather starting issues like vapor lock.
High Thrust Models
T60 | T50 | T25 | T9.9
These feisty four strokes serve up twice the thrust of comparable two strokes in the 2000-3000 RPM range.
Dual Thrust™ propellers (optional on T50/T60 and standard on the T25 and T9.9) redirect exhaust flow away from the propeller, reducing ventilation and increasing thrust up to 60% in forward and 70% in reverse.
Yamaha High Thrust outboards are compatible with our award-winning, Multi-Function Tiller Handle. Optional on all high thrust models, this tiller handle’s ergonomic design makes shifting easy, with less rotation needed to go from idle to wide-open throttle. This, plus a max-grip throttle handle reduces operator fatigue, so you can spend more time on the water.
Jet Drive Models
F150 | F115 | F90 | F60 | F40
With no gearcase or propeller extending below the hull, a jet drive allows you to maneuver around or pass over obstructions that would limit the travel of a conventional, propeller driven outboard.Fuel
Yamaha jet drives are amazingly fuel efficient.
Sneak up on the fish. Yamaha jet drives are incredibly quiet.
Yamaha covers its jet drive powerheads with a Three-Year Limited Warranty and jet pump systems with a Two-Year Limited Warranty for pleasure use.
